Leisure

There is plenty to see and do in and around Paraty: history, culture, the Atlantic rainforest. And of course, the sea and beaches await you. The Bay of Paraty is one of the most beautiful of the brazilian coast. It’s clear and calm waters, colorful fishes are an irrefutable invitation to a good dive. Paraty is certainly the best choice that appeals to everyone of all ages and styles.

Boat trips

The bay of Paraty is one of the most beautiful in the country. On a boat trip you will pass several islands and beaches, you’ll see as the Atlantic Forest and, reaching the sea, you’ll among dolphins.
Because I love the sea, we have 2 boats. One offers place for 9 and the other for 15 persons to guide you to the most beautiful places I knew in my almost 20 years in Paraty.
Book your skipper and your destinations of choice directly at the pousada.

A boat trip in the bay of Paraty

About half an hour of walk from the Pousada towards the historic center you’ll reach the small port of Paraty. The Bay offers 62 islands, 320 beaches and numerous beautiful bays. According to our guests wishes, we organize the tour whether for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, beach visits, feeding the fish (no no, don’t worry, nobody will become seasick!)
It is only a lovely thing trowing bredcrumbs into the sea and observing the fishes catch them – like at home in your aquarium. Or with some luck you’ll see even dolphins. On some of the islands and at some of the beautiful beaches there are small but fine restaurants, which prepare and offer delicious meals fresh from the sea.

One can rent the boats for day trips or even on an hourly basis. Of course, with ice-box for your own drinks – but especially for the very often demanded Caiprinhas. By the way: the lemons used you can choose in our garden before starting! “On the Rocks” anyone can do …”On the Lifebelt” only we know how to serve them 🙂
